| | Khenpo Norgay to Visit: September 2 - 6

KPC is pleased to announce a visit from our spiritual friend, Khenpo Tenzin Norgay. Khenpo is a teacher in the Palyul Lineage, to which KPC belongs, and has visited KPC on numerous occasions in the past.
The focus of Khenpo's visit will be a series of teachings on the basics of Ngondro (Preliminary Practice), on Saturday, September 4, and Sunday, September 5. Watch for details of the schedule on tara.org.
Ngondro is the first level of committed practice in the Vajrayana tradition of Buddhism. All who are interested in committed practice are urged to attend. As Ngondro is the basis for all other levels of Vajrayana practice, these teachings are important for experienced students as well.
Khenpo will be arriving on September 2, and will participate in a Shower of Blessings Tsog (food offering ceremony) with us on Friday, September 3, Guru Rinpoche Day.
This visit is Khenpo's first since the passing into Nirvana of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche in 2009. We expect to hear many stories about His Holiness and about the Palyul Lineage.
