demands contact and firm grip
pulling and twisting myself to life
i summon sparks from within
morning glory
a frantic faceless romance
me. world. universe.
exploding light
warm wet delivery
compassion confined molecularly
to fluid
teeth grind
toes curl
you appear in unopened eyes
morph into him
linger as her
depart as them
daylight invades
sleepy little slits of vision
a clock demands response
and our morning affair
is mopped clean from
shoulders, bellies and wrists
what shame ensues
my expression of hope
forbidden conversationally
except in dark places
so i bring it here
i post my heart
i post my joyful weariness
i post an organ of ill repute
in my mind and at my fingertips
pressing it for more fulfillment
and still the empty truth
remains in full display
no changes in dispair
no lack of love between atoms
attraction, repulsion, neutrality
tomorrow will be the same
and i relish a morning romp
a chance to spray myself
against the frosty world
burning it with my absolute intention
