Bigger Love

Disoriented, feeling distance
Between two things that share space and time
A moment of perfect union
Embracing now, with no other intention

I love you too
Not instead of another
But as well
Causing choruses of confusion in my head

How can we limit our love
Confine it within a population of 40 billlion
To only one other, with all hopes
Aspirations bound to that miniscule joining

Nuclear power resides in my being
Atom splitting intensity to consume
Any piece of your unworthiness
Returning pristine confidence of your divinity

Limitations of my bodily limbs
Any comfort they might bestow
Apathy thwarting my vocabulary
Attempting to explain such boundless things

Partake, and heal yourself
You will be healing me as well
And all will benefit eventually
If we are pure in this endeavor

Peeling away my shields
Standing before you as bare as the world allows me to be
I echo refrains of timeless wisdom
Saying you have this in you - and we savor it between us
